PERMITS:
Obtained at car park from ticket machine.Ensure you have enough change as doesn't take notes. It takes £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p only.
3 day permit is around £15.00
7 day permit is around £33.00
You can now pay by card from your mobile phone. Be aware, although you can pay for a weekly ticket, this does not guarantee you a place
Parking Advice:
Parking is limited and unfortunately there is no permanent parking outside the cottage, only drop off.
When you arrive, park opposite the cottage as far on the left hand side of the road as possible so as not to block the road for passing vehicles. Drop your load off. Reverse back down the road and drive up Fish Street.
Follow signs to the Island Car park.
If full, just park on the left against the wall near the entrance and wait in car. People are always coming and going so you shouldn’t have to wait too long.
If you are not prepared to wait for Island Car Park you can try the other Car Park called BARNOON which is the one above the Tate Gallery which isn't far and also more chance of a spot there.
